Challenge
The resort had internet at the office, but cabin guests were seeing roughly 5–10 Mbps and inconsistent Wi-Fi, making remote work and reliable streaming difficult.
Solution
We engineered a multi point-to-point backbone from the main uplink to cabin zones, then installed a dedicated wireless access point in each cabin area. We also tied in AI cameras with license-plate analytics so the property can be monitored from anywhere.
Outcome
Cabin speeds improved from about 5–10 Mbps to around 100 Mbps, giving guests steadier internet for work calls, streaming, and everyday browsing. For resort operators and RV/campsite owners, this shows a practical way to extend reliable connectivity, support longer guest stays, and attract work-from-anywhere visitors.
Why this project matters for similar commercial buyers
This case study shows how Simply Telecom scopes, installs, tests, and supports commercial telecom projects where downtime, poor workmanship, or handoff confusion would create operational headaches. The same project discipline applies to similar upgrades across Kelowna and the Okanagan.
