Challenge

The event footprint stretched across grandstands, gates, vendor zones, broadcast areas, and guest pathways. The network had to support customer-supplied gear, avoid trip hazards, and still be easy to remove after the festival window closed.

Solution

Simply Telecom established a command centre in the broadcast booth, extended fibre under the field to distribution points behind the grandstands, ran labelled structured cabling throughout the site, and used point-to-point wireless links where physical cable paths would have crossed guest foot traffic.

Outcome

Every cable, fibre run, and connection was tested to support dependable broadcast, POS, ticketing, and event operations across the full festival footprint.

Why this project matters for future event-network buyers

This case study shows what Simply Telecom can deliver when a venue needs temporary Wi‑Fi, broadcast-ready cabling, ticketing support, vendor POS connectivity, and on-site troubleshooting under live-event pressure. The same planning, installation, testing, and support model applies to sports events, festivals, production compounds, and other short-term venues across Kelowna and the Okanagan.
