Live Event Connectivity

Temporary Event Wi‑Fi, Festival Wi‑Fi & POS Networks in Kelowna

Simply Telecom builds temporary networks for live events where connectivity cannot fail. We design and deploy event Wi‑Fi, festival Wi‑Fi, POS connectivity, temporary structured cabling, fibre distribution, and venue-wide coverage for broadcast crews, ticketing teams, vendors, staff, and guests.

From sports broadcasts and fan festivals to complex short-term venue builds, we create temporary networks that work in the real world — with tested cabling, flexible design, and on-site support when plans change.

What We Handle for Temporary Event Networks

We support event organizers, broadcast teams, venues, and operators that need reliable short-term connectivity across complex properties and tight setup windows.

Kelowna event Wi‑Fi and festival Wi‑Fi for short-term venues
POS Wi‑Fi for food trucks, merch booths, and vendor zones
Ticketing and gate connectivity for large event footprints
Temporary fibre, copper, switching, and production network distribution
Point-to-point wireless links where guest footpaths make cable runs impractical
On-site support during setup, live operation, and teardown

Built for real-world event conditions

Temporary event networks rarely stay exactly as drawn.

Trailers move. Vendor layouts shift. Footpaths become cable hazards. Coverage gaps only show up once the venue is fully live.

Simply Telecom builds for that reality. We do not just install to a paper diagram. We test, adapt, extend, and support the network on site so broadcast crews, vendors, ticketing staff, event organizers, and guests get dependable connectivity when it matters most.

  • Sports broadcasts and live television productions
  • Fan festivals, community events, and outdoor venue activations
  • Large properties needing temporary wired and wireless coverage across multiple zones
  • Event teams that want one local crew for design, install, support, and teardown

Touchdown Kelowna shows how a large temporary event network should be delivered

For Touchdown Kelowna Festival and the BC Lions at the Apple Bowl, Simply Telecom supported a large temporary event footprint with broadcast-ready infrastructure, fibre distribution, structured cabling, Wi‑Fi coverage, ticketing support, and vendor POS connectivity.

This project shows how Simply Telecom supports high-stakes temporary networks for sports events, fan festivals, public venues, and production-heavy event sites where setup speed, clean routing, live support, and teardown all matter.

Past event Wi‑Fi and temporary network deployments

We have supported temporary event networks for international broadcasts, large public venues, guest Wi‑Fi, vendor POS systems, ticketing operations, and multi-zone event layouts. These examples show both outdoor festival-scale infrastructure and complex indoor broadcast environments.

June 26 to July 4, 2026

Touchdown Kelowna Festival / BC Lions at the Apple Bowl

Simply Telecom delivered the temporary structured cabling and event network backbone supporting the BC Lions’ two-game visit to the Apple Bowl, plus festival operations across ticketing, broadcast, vendor, and guest areas.

  • 14 access points
  • Approx. 30 POS stations
  • Connectivity across about 20 event zones

Outcome: Every cable, fibre run, and connection was tested to support dependable broadcast, POS, ticketing, and event operations across the full festival footprint.

December 6 to 19, 2025

Olympic Qualification Event 2025 at the Kelowna Curling Club

For an international live television environment, Simply Telecom coordinated temporary internet service from TELUS and Shaw, built the inside wiring from scratch in a 1940s venue, and maintained full-building Wi‑Fi plus trailer connectivity for worldwide broadcast operations.

  • Large 4K and 8K file movement to servers in eight countries
  • Approx. 10 wireless access points
  • Guest Wi‑Fi support for roughly 2,000 attendees

Outcome: The event was broadcast globally without issues from the temporary cabling or network infrastructure, and the site was fully torn down and cleaned up after the event.
