Cabling and racks

Do you handle residential internet accounts for individual units?

No. This page is for building-wide and business-managed network environments. We do not market residential internet plans or consumer in-suite support.

Can strata Wi-Fi cover common areas and still keep traffic separated?

Yes. We design separate network boundaries for staff, guests, amenities, cameras, intercom, and other building systems so one area does not inherit another area’s access.

Do you act as the ISP for the building?

No. We coordinate the fibre or internet provider and manage the in-building network. The carrier still owns the circuit, while we handle the local network design, handoff, and support process.

Can you coordinate TELUS, Rogers, or another provider for a multi-tenant building?

Yes. We regularly coordinate provider installs, demarc readiness, rack preparation, firewall handoff, and troubleshooting with national and regional carriers.

Is this only for stratas?

No. We support stratas, retirement homes, managed housing, mixed-use buildings, offices, and other multi-tenant properties where one network team needs to support the shared environment.

How do you handle retirement home Wi-Fi differently?

Retirement homes usually need stronger roaming design, clearer staff-versus-guest separation, and support-ready documentation for a higher-touch operating environment.

Can building Wi-Fi also support cameras and door entry systems?

Yes. We can plan the switching, segmentation, and cabling so cameras, intercom, and access-control systems sit on the right network boundaries without sharing the same access as guest traffic.
